Frankly, we had just got to the end of our tether. Order after order online, the same thing always happens. Brilliant from the photos, arrives and you look and the parcel as if to ask, 'really'. And you wait for the better part of weeks trying to get anyone actually reply to say,' actually, that is the case'.

Mia and I were having that exact same conversation for the hundredth time (feels like) so decided 'ok let's just go ahead and bloody do it ourselves'.

So that is Cararush. No more complex than that.

What exactly we're actually selling

Before anything is posted on site – we ensure that it passes Mia's scrutiny. She is very specific and always has been about this. If it's no go, it's no go – it's better to have less items that are incredibly well executed and that we genuinely stand by than to have pages of average stock.
Mostly that means some of the more hard to come by item's out there, as well as the more notably made and designed item's available elsewhere.

The Process

You email us and we will write to you in response. Mia is the one managing most of the communication and simply responds like a normal human being with no scripts. No postage across the UK, no having it turn into a rigmarole and we will also get problems resolved for you.

My role includes: looking after all stock management and logistics, the chasing down of manufacturers when it's necessary (it frequently is), and all the operational aspects of the business which really should not affect you.

We are still trying and figuring many things out as we continue our journey and although it has only just begun – we are actually having quite a lot of fun at this stage. Great that you're with us!
